Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family is the upcoming anime adaptation of the manga by Nanateru. It was first announced back in January, and now we know who’s set to star.
Protagonist Alma-chan will be played by Hika Tsukishiro, while Enji Kamisato will be played by Ryota Suzuki. Suzume Yobane will be played by M.A.O.
Tsukishiro, known for her role as Chika Suzugamori in Zatsu Tabi -That’s Journey-, commented:
From the moment I received the audition materials, I was completely fascinated by the warm world and the cute characters, so I am very happy to be able to play the role! I will do my best to convey the fascinating world of Alma, so please look forward to the broadcast of the anime!

Alma-chan Wants to Have a Family! follows a pair of scientists who don’t know they’re in love, but their robot understands and wants to be in a family together with them both.
The anime has Yasuhiro Minami (episodes of Gintama) directing, with Yukie Sugawara (The Vampire Dies in No Time) on scripts and Mika Yamamoto (sub-character designer on Fire Force) handling character designs for the Studio Flad production.
