Following last week’s teaser, Baskin-Robbins Japan has officially launched its ONE PIECE collaboration campaign. The event will run from April 1 to May 8, 2025, and feature a lineup of limited-edition desserts, new flavors, themed packaging, and exclusive merchandise. All items will be available at participating stores across Japan while supplies last.
New Flavor: Gomu Gomu no Fruits Punch
Headlining the Baskin-Robbins x ONE PIECE collab is the brand-new ice cream flavor modeled after Luffy’s Gomu Gomu no Mi (Gum Gum Fruit). The dark purple sherbet, called Gomu Gomu no Fruits Punch, mimics the look of the Devil Fruit and contains fruit-flavored sherbet, soda-style candy ribbons, and popping candy for a crackling texture.

The Baskin-Robbins x ONE PIECE collaboration marks another major franchise tie-in for Baskin-Robbins Japan, joining recent collaborations with brands like Pokémon and Sanrio. This time, fans in Japan can get a taste of the Gomu Gomu no Mi itself (without the Devil Fruit side effects included).
Baskin-Robbins is a well-known ice cream chain founded in 1945 in California by brothers-in-law Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins. At the time, most shops stuck to basic flavors, so they introduced the idea of offering 31 — one for each day of the month. That concept stuck and is still reflected in the “31” represented in the brand’s logo.
Now based in Massachusetts and owned by the same parent company as Dunkin’, Baskin-Robbins has expanded to over 7,800 stores in more than 50 countries. Since its founding, it has created over 1,400 flavors, including vegan and non-dairy options. Despite its size, each of its 2400+ U.S. locations is still locally owned.
The ONE PIECE anime is set to resume with Egghead Island Part 2 on April 6, 2025 following a production break. It will have a double-episode premiere weekend, with a special 83-minute recap preceding Episode 1123 on April 5. The Baskin-Robbins collab follows many other collaborations from the franchise, including LEGO, POP MART, and Moose Toys. The franchise has also recently featured collaborations with the NBA (Los Angeles Lakers), MLB (Seattle Mariners), and Bundesliga (Borussia Dortmund).
