More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers Manga Takes Break to Prepare for Finale

Yuki Kanamaru’s More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers manga is getting ready to enter its final part, so it’s time to take a breather. Kanamaru announced a hiatus for the series that will see it missing at least next month’s issue of Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine, as the author steps away to prepare for the finale.

The final part of the series begins along with volume 14. The series first debuted in Young Ace back in 2018, with volume 13 shipping in Japan earlier this month. An anime adaptation aired in October 2022 and Crunchyroll currently streams it.

Udon Entertainment releases the manga in English and sums up the story like so:

More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers Plot

Would you take an oath for a false romance, for the sake of true love?

The pseudo-married couple romantic comedy between a popular girl and a loser in romance begins!

Jiro Yakuin, a high school student who lacks romantic experience, is paired up with a completely opposite girl, Akari Watanabe, as part of a class called “Marriage Practical”. They are required to live together and act like a married couple in order to earn the right to exchange partners with their crushes. Reluctantly, they begin their performance as a married couple, but can they handle what awaits them…!?
