Step on-board the set of Black Mirror’s new USS Callister episode with the latest issue of SFX

Back in 2017, SFX went on-set for the Star Trek-riffing episode “USS Callister”, stepping foot on the titular spacecraft. Now we do so again for the filming of a sequel episode, speaking to the show’s creator Charlie Brooker, director Toby Haynes, and four of the cast of the episode. Warning: may contain prosthetic testicles.

The TARDIS rematerialises on 12 April for Ncuti Gatwa’s second season. In a 10-page feature, we talk to Doctor Who overlord Russell T Davies, Varada Sethu  (new companion Belinda Chandra) and producer Joel Collins. Plus we talk to production designer Phil Sims, who shares some concept art from the first two episodes!
