The Shiunji Family Children Collabs with Rent-a-Girlfriend in Special Art
One Reiji Miyajima series deserves the company of another, and that’s exactly what we’re getting in a new piece of art that mixes the creator’s The Shiunji Family Children and Rent-a-Girlfriend. Both manga series have anime either on air or on the way, with more Rent-a-Girlfriend in the pipeline for this year and The Shiunji Family Children starting its run today.
To mark the occasion, Miyajima shared the collaborative visual below, mixing a whole bunch of heroines together.
Ryouki Kamitsubo (Hidamari Sketch) directs The Shiunji Family Children, with Noboru Kimura (AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline) handling scripts and Miki Muto (My Senpai is Annoying chief animation director) on character designs and chief animation direction for the Doga Kobo production. Music comes from Akki, Ginnojo Hoshi and Shota Horie (Directed by PHYZ).
Yen Press releases the manga in English. Here’s the official description:
The Shiunji Family Children Plot
The love between brother and sister. The love between man and woman. That which is most forbidden is most unyielding. The two sons and five daughters of the Shiunji family shine like brilliant gems, each with intelligence and beauty in equal measure. And with the pedigree of their wealthy father behind them, how could they not be the talk of the town? Eldest son Arata has spent his life being tossed around by the whims of his colorful sisters, yet a little teasing won’t stop him from valuing his family over anything and anyone else. But when his youngest sister turns fifteen, their father reveals a long-hidden secret of the Shiunji “siblings” and knocks Arata’s world off its axis…
