Toei Animation and MLB’s Seattle Mariners Announce One Piece Night Collab for April 8 – Anime Corner

MLB’s (Major League Baseball) Seattle Mariners and Toei Animation announced a collab for ONE PIECE Night at T-Mobile Park on April 8, 2025, during the Mariners’ game against the Houston Astros. The event will feature a demonstration of the ONE PIECE Card Game and a special commemorative ONE PIECE Seattle Mariners t-shirt for ticket holders.

Lisa Yamatoya, Senior Director, Global Marketing for Toei Animation Inc. said: “We’re thrilled to team-up with the Seattle Mariners for ONE PIECE Night this April. We can’t wait to bring this event to both anime and baseball fans at T-Mobile Park. It’s sure to be a great night”

Mariners Director of Sales Development & Group Events, Liz McCloskey, also gave a statement: “We’re excited to collaborate with Toei Animation on ONE PIECE to provide our fans with another fun ticket special at T-Mobile Park. Mariners baseball offers something for everyone over the course of the summer, and we are thrilled to provide our community with unique collaborations at the ballpark all season long.”

Tickets for Seattle Mariners X ONE PIECE Night are available exclusively through the Seattle Mariners website at mariners.com/onepiece. Given past demand for similar crossover events, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

The ONE PIECE anime is set to resume with Egghead Island Part 2 on April 6, 2025 following a production break. Additionally, the franchise has expanded into other media, with Bandai’s ONE PIECE Card Game achieving massive popularity and the mobile game ONE PIECE Bounty Rush reaching an impressive 150 million downloads as of August 2024. There are also upcoming collaborations with numerous other brands, such as LEGOPOP MART, and Moose Toys.
