Watari-kun’s ****** Is About to Collapse Anime Streams Promo Video
The anime adaptation of Watari-kun’s ****** Is About to Collapse, the manga by Naru Narumi, is set to collapse onto screens this July, and now we have a first look promo video. Check it out below.
The series features Takashi Naoya (Am I Actually the Strongest?) directing, Matsuo Asami assistant directing, Tetsuya Takahashi (World’s End Harem) writing series composition and Shoko Yasuda (Happy Sugar Life) handling character designs for the Staple Entertainment production. The main cast includes Shuichiro Umeda as Naoto Watari, Yumika Yano as Satsuki Tachibana and Yurie Igoma as Yukari Ishihara.

Naoto Watari has had his share of struggles: his parents died two years ago, and now he and his sister live at his aunt’s house. There, his desire to protect his sister earned him notoriety as “the guy with the sister complex”—which never mattered to him, as his sister always came first. But when Satsuki, a childhood friend-turned-enemy(?), becomes his school mate, Naoto’s ordinary life is thrown into chaos … and Satsuki may just be the beginning.
The manga kicked off in 2014 and ended in 2023 with a total of 16 volumes. Narumi is also known for the manga Ms. Koizumi Loves Ramen Noodles.
