‘When Calls The Heart’ Renewed For Season 13 By Hallmark

Hallmark Media has renewed its longest-running series, When Calls the Heart, for a record 13th season. The network made the announcement tonight during the show’s Season 12 finale.

Based on the novel of the same name by Janette Oke, the period-set series stars Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Jack Wagner, Chris McNally, Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith. The new season is set to premiere in 2026 on Hallmark Channel and will be streaming the next day on Hallmark+, where all seasons are currently available.

“Hearties are far more than a fan-base — they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley,” said Hallmark Media’s Senior Vice President, Programming Samantha DiPippo in a statement. “It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond.”

When Calls the Heart follows a cultured, early-1900s schoolteacher named Elizabeth who leaves her comfortable world in the city for a new life in a frontier town. In Season 12, love flourished between Elizabeth (Krakow) and Mountie Nathan Grant (McGarry) as they embraced the joy of new romance.

When Calls the Heart is an All Canadian Entertainment Production in Association with Brad Krevoy Television and Believe Pictures. Brad Krevoy, Brian Bird, Michael Landon Jr., Joy Gregory, Mike Rohl, Jimmy Townsend, Amy Hartwick, Erin Krakow, Susie Belzberg, and Michael Shepard are executive producers. Vicki Sotheran and Greg Malcolm serve as producers.
